McAllen’s 90th Annual Fourth of July Celebration
When we say that this is an all-day celebration, we really aren’t exaggerating. The fun begins at 9 AM on Main Street when the annual Fourth of July parade makes its way through downtown. After the festivities have been kicked off, there will be a wide variety of family-friendly events and activities throughout the area. Businesses, non-profit organizations, veterans’ groups, and any other interested parties are all encouraged to get in touch with the City of McAllen Parks and Recreation Department, as they are currently accepting entries for the 2018 festivities. Lastly, after dark, there will be a white-hot fireworks musical display that’s sure to drop every jaw in attendance.
