Memorial Day Weekend Volunteer Opportunity
When: Sat, May 26 – 8:30-10:30 AM
Where: Hillcrest Memorial Park
An excellent activity for all ages—kids, teens, adults, and seniors alike—you’re never too young or old to show your respect and gratitude for the brave men and women who paved the path to our nation’s modern state of security and stability. At 8:30 AM on Saturday, May 26, the Kiwanis Club of Edinburg will be placing over 600 American flags on the grave markers of military service members. A quick service in honor of Memorial Day will feature speeches from city officials as well as members of local groups for veterans. Once the service has concluded, the congregation will then begin placing the American flags on the grave markers. The flags will be provided by the Kiwanis Club of Edinburg, as well as free snacks and water for all volunteers.

Several members of our Charlie Clark Nissan Harlingen team will be volunteering at Hillcrest Memorial Park this Saturday, and we’ve love to see you there!
