Only Trick or Treat at Homes with Familiar Faces

The best way to make sure that your children won’t be accepting candy from any shady or potentially dangerous people is to only trick or treat at houses where you know the owner and trust them accordingly. Of course, not everyone knows their neighbors and community this thoroughly. For those who can get all of their candy from trusted sources, that is definitely the safest route. • Anything homemade
  • Discolored or ‘doesn’t look right’
  • Small tears or tiny pinholes in the wrappers
