Best Rio Grande Valley Bookstores
One of our favorite gifts to give (and receive) during the holiday season is an enjoyable book. No matter if it is a biography about Sam Houston, a volume that details the history of Texas, a series of Western novels, or Brownsville by Oscar Casares, we love them all! While you might be able to find most of these books online, we love supporting our local businesses here in the Rio Grande Valley, which is home to several bookstores! Here are two of our favorites:

If your loved ones are fans, students, or alumni of UT-RGV, this is the place to shop! Besides textbooks, the bookstore has an extensive selection of novels, biographies/autobiographies, and nonfiction publications for a variety of ages. Additionally, UT-RGV swag is available, including clothes (men, women, and kids), auto accessories, blankets (perfect for tailgating), drinkware, and more!
