Where: Mission Historical Museum
Celebrate Dia de los Muertos with the Mission Historical Museum! There will a Community Altar exhibit, dancing, music, food, and much more. This event is free to the public, so come join in on the excitement.
Howl-O-Ween at Paws
When: Thursday, October 26, 2017 – 6-8 PM
Where: Laurie P. Andrews PAWS Center
Humans aren’t the only ones who like to dress up for Halloween. Come have a blast with a bunch of dogs, as they participate in two Halloween costume contests: one for small dogs and the other for larger puppies at heart.
Trunk or Treat – Brownsville
When: Saturday, October 28, 2017 – 5-11 PM
Where: Resaca de La Palma State Park
For children who want to go trick-or-treating but don’t want to be scared, this Trunk or Treat event is a scare-free and family-friendly safe haven. It’s OK to be afraid, and you won’t have that problem at this event.
Halloween on Jackson Street
When: Tuesday, October 31st, 2017 – 6-9 PM
Where: Jackson Avenue, Downtown Harlingen
With all due to respect to the previously mentioned events, this one might just be the best of the bunch. Food trucks, a costume parade, trick-or-treating, and a haunted house! This is the end-all-be-all of Halloween 2017.
