How Much Does the 2018 Nissan LEAF Cost?

First and foremost, the 2018 Nissan LEAF actually costs less than the 2017 model. In the spirit of unaltered innovation, the 2018 LEAF is one of the few cars to enter the market with a lower base price than its most recent model. As one would expect, the Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of any car depends on the trim level, and the 2018 Nissan LEAF is no exception. At the same time, however, every single trim level costs less than their 2017 equivalents. The 2018 Nissan LEAF is available in three trim levels: the base S, SV, and SL. The MSRP of each trim level is outlined in the chart below.

2018 Nissan LEAF vs 2017 Nissan LEAF Driving Range

Not only does the 2018 Nissan LEAF cost less than past models, it also stays on the road longer! While the 2017 Nissan LEAF gets 107 miles per charge, the 2018 LEAF gets a remarkable 40-percent upgrade of 150 miles per charge! Far from done there, the 2018 Nissan LEAF also has 37-percent more horsepower than the 2017 model. More efficient and powerful, the 2018 LEAF is truly a next-generation model. This massive improvement can be mostly attributed to the all-new aerodynamic redesign of the LEAF.

What Are Some Features on the 2018 Nissan LEAF?

As early as the base S trim, the 2018 LEAF receives several state-of-the-art features such as standard Automatic Emergency Braking. Next, moving up to the SV trim gives the LEAF even more technological bonuses, as it adds Apple Carplay and Android Auto as well as Intelligent Cruise Control. Far from over, the SL trim introduces Blind Spot Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, a premium sound system, Intelligent Around View Monitor, and more. Just to put things in perspective, with this $6,800 bundle of improvements included, the 2018 Nissan LEAF SL still costs $590 less than the 2017 model.
